About SabiGuide
What SabiGuide is, who is behind it, and why it exists.
SabiGuide is an independent, free guide to Nigerian public services and identity documents — NIN, BVN, JAMB, WAEC, NECO, NYSC, passports, bank USSD and more. Our one job is to explain, in plain English, how to do these things correctly and safely.
Why SabiGuide exists
Millions of Nigerians search every month for how to check their NIN or BVN, print a JAMB result slip, or register on the NYSC portal. The official portals hold the real service — but they are often confusing, and the pages that try to explain them are frequently wrong, out of date, or (worse) fake sites set up to steal people’s details. SabiGuide is the calm, correct, independent alternative: the right steps, the official link, and an honest warning about the scams that target each process.
Who we are
SabiGuide is published by an independent editorial team. We are not a government agency and we are not affiliated with NIMC, JAMB, WAEC, NYSC, the CBN, the Nigeria Immigration Service, or any bank. We do not process applications, sell PINs, or act as “agents.” We only publish information.
What we will never do
- Ask for your BVN, NIN, OTP, password, or card PIN.
- Offer to “help” you complete a government process for a fee.
- Link to sites that sell pirated result-checker PINs or impersonate official portals.
- Invent fees, dates, or steps — if we cannot verify something, we say so and point you to the official source.
How SabiGuide is funded
SabiGuide is free to read. We may earn from advertising shown on the site. Advertising never influences our instructions, and we do not run ads that impersonate government services. See our disclaimer and privacy policy.
Corrections
Government processes change. If you spot something out of date or incorrect, please tell us on our contact page and we will check it against the official source and update it. Read how we check our facts on How we verify.
